#51: Ludwig Persson

@bopeep your turn
I'll PM him

That's way too much work for round 7. I usually scout the names that are left, go " oh wow, awesome hockey name!"

Draft.

:laugh:
Love cool sounding names. It partly explains why I picked Billy Constantinou last or before-last mock draft (in the 3rd round I believe?). Dude went undrafted... :skeptic: maybe not the best strategy lol

To be honest, I usually dont know shit about the upcoming draft besides the first round or so. But it's the pressure that comes with doing this alongside the unbelievably great hockey minds I exchange thoughts with everyday on here. I simply have no choice but to take this thing seriously, and watch some tape, and get my shit together.
The challenge is exciting when you face knowledgeable posters like WeThreeKings, NotProkofievian, Whitesnake, MarkovsKnee, Andrei79, Stive Morgan and the many other students of the game we got posting here.

I'm just an amateur who enjoys keeping track on all things Habs and NHL, and despite my limitations, I still eventually end up picking steals these aforementioned beasts stupidly missed. I tell you, the slim bragging rights you can obtain in this game are worth the whole excruciating process of video scouting B-rate MHL prospects.
We're all amateurs! :thumbu:

But, thanks!

I like it because it shows that the draft isn't easy. Gives me a little perspective on how draft day goes. We get 6-7 hours to choose. They get 10 minutes. Teams have to come in ultra prepared.

And choosing between that forward or that D you don't know will be there next pick?

Plus, it prepares me for the draft itself. Getting to know names & draftees, etc.

It's always interesting to review this draft after the conclusion of the actual draft.
