"The Arizona Coyotes are proud to select, from Guelph Storm of the Ontario Hockey League, Center, Danny Zhilkin!"

"Zhilkin has a lot of flair to his game, he's able to make skilled plays and advanced reads while owning a heavy shot and underrated touch & vision. He's another high IQ center who could improve some of his skating technique. Consistency is the name of the game for improvement but if he finds it, he could be considered a steal in the 2nd round,"

Arizona picks thus far:
1. Shane Wright
2. Noah Ostlund
3. Adam Ingram
4. Jiri Kulich
5. Sam Rinzel
6. Calle Odelius
7. Danny Zhilkin

All 7.

Only time we didn't was last year, because I left it so late we only got through 4 rounds.
Damn. I need to do a deeper homework than I thought because Sharks have multiple picks in the bottom 3 rounds. That's on top of doing my actual homework because I'm part-time at uni and it's end of semester and I've been mailing it in since the beginning :help:

Has to be almost over, no? Uni?

Check Central Scouting lists in OP. Rankings aren't great, but they list all eligible draftees, like 400 players. It's why I posted it.

It's almost over but I consistently pushed back essays until the very end like the classic slacker that I am. I only have 2 classes on Monday but I work as a substitute teacher 4 days a week so I have limited time to dive into it. But I'm not complaining, watching some hockey tape makes for the best study-breaks and also the best excuses to request some me-time from the fiancee. "Sorry babe really got to scout this teenage Swedish defenseman guess we'll watch this romcom tomorrow instead".

Edit : thanks for the advice. I try to follow most scouting platforms that put up rankings on eliteprospects, and go from there. I'm beginning to understand that they all have biases for certain skills and I try to balance everything, then video-scout the players who stand-out and have the kind of profiles I like.

That's way too much work for round 7. I usually scout the names that are left, go " oh wow, awesome hockey name!"

Draft.
