look at 2bc productions customs rosters on youtube.

Yep that's the best suggestion - and even then, you only need to watch the first few teams to get an idea of how / what he's doing.

At that point you can sort of assume what he's doing and do the rest yourself. It took me about an hour to do all 30 teams, both upgrading and downgrading players.

thank you both!

Whaaat noo! ;). I basically created all NCAA players who had a grade on Hockey's Futre of 6.5C or better. And made a bunch of edits to players already in the league.

Sweet aha. I watched Mario Lucia play a lot, he played for Penticton in the BCHL so I saw him a lot. Great player. Will be good for the Wild some day.

With the flurry of the off season over, the Seattle Vikings look a whole lot different. After the worst season in NHL history, the General Manager of the Vikings proved that this team is going to get better.
"We knew that after the terrible season last year we had to make some improvements. The changes we made definetly improved our club and we are looking forward to the upcoming season." says GM Morrison. Let's hope he's right.

____________________________________________________________________

Actually won the cup in year 2 of this GM mode but 4 of my top 6 forwards, 1 of my top 4 defense retired and Bernier dropped from 85 to 82 for some reason so I went into a rebuild.
Got Washingtons 1st pick for this years draft a long time ago which is looking to end up being top 3, didn't intend to stockpile high draft picks, which you can probably tell since I only have one high end skating prospect and one high end goalie prospect.

Only got Ekblad because the team completely busted with the original Toronto roster.

They got into a drunken fist-fight. Star Players Sidney Crosby and Evgeni Malkin said they want out of Pittsburgh. This day will define Penguins history forever. Other players who wanted out included all star James Neal, Brooks Orpik, Rob Scuderi, Marc-Andre Fluery, top prospect Derrick Pouliot, Pascal Dupuis, Chris Kunitz, and goalie Tomas Voukoun. Wow you must have the cap off for any of those to go through

I haven't been in this thread in a long, long time.

But I've been inspired by some of the stories in here to start my own. :) Still deciding on a team to take over, but expect to see some posts from me soon!

I'm going to get some more of my Sabres GM done tonight. Will have some more posts either later tonight or tomorrow.

^ lol, fantasy hockey?
I remember a couple of years ago some guy did the same thing. I needed some interesting to do for me to actually stay doing it. Kinda hard because I am a Pens fan though...

Nope. I have 30 million in cap though. Should be some crazy FA signings.

That's why I never do Pens GM Modes..I could never trade most of the players on the team :P

Think I should make a fantasy draft and try doing it with that? Might be fun! even make a new team and relocate Calgary or something?

I always thought about doing a fantasy draft and relocating every team. Would be crazy, but to much work for it to be rewarding.

I decided to do a new write up. Thinking of only using and rafting Russian Players except my created player. Would anybody be interested in reading that?

*Edit*

So I decided to do something different. I made a team Called the Louisville Knockouts. I am building the team only from the draft, nothing else. No free agency, If I make a trade it must be offered to me. The only free agent I will take is my created Player.
