Literally the only thing of any value that Vegas has to offer is Dorofeyev lol.

And hard to sell a team on "Here's our winger he'll be great next to Andrew Copp".
Maybe just load up on wingers and hope they can push kasper and danielson into top 6 centers

I've got negative interest in wingers. We've already got Raymond and, for now, Debrincat, with a plethora of solid U22 potential in Finnie/MBN/Bear/Plante/Genborg.

And none of them mean jack shit if we don't do something to fix our center situation.

You can send MBN Anaheims way 😏

After Florida getting Brady, I think Kelly McCrimmon pushes harder to get Larkin. If they include Karlsson into the deal, they will have a very impressive team down the middle

Eichel - high end #1C
Larkin - high end #2C
Hertl - high end #3C
Yeah as someone mentioned. Karlsson would mean nothing to us. At best we could flip him to a playoff team for a younger prospect / younger roster player. So he wouldn't be main piece of such a deal. Idk what they have that could interest. Dorofeyev, Connelly and 1st would be in 28 in addition to Karlsson.
Not sure if that would cut it.

And looking at the Vegas roster, man feel bad for Brett Howden he is going to be underpaid compared to what he delivers.

Worth a shot lol
Eating shit?

Yeah Vegas is the least appealing of the lot. Really Larkin gave a trade list that said "Minnesota" and two poorly drawn upturned middle fingers to Yzerman.

Worth remembering that Larkin knows that state tax in California is 13%. Michigan is 4ish? That's real money. And then there's the price of real estate...

Just can't see him being that interested in Anaheim.

There was already a rumor out there that he was "Less than lukewarm" about going to Anaheim.

Can't remember who said it though.

That's fine. You guys know your team better than I do. But I know our team better than you do. Carlsson-Granlund is a good 1-2 punch at C for Anaheim. OTOH, RD is an absolute trainwreck. If you were Anaheim, what position would you be using your assets to fix?

Larkin would be a pretty big upgrade over Granlund but I can appreciate the perspective that center may not feel like a priority.

I wonder if a package could make sense? Faulk @ 50% + Larkin.

Doubt Anaheim has much interest in Faulk with retention.

Faulk at 50% is way more valuable to a team like Vegas, Tampa, or maybe Dallas.

Unless his play has fallen of a cliff (?), Faulk makes a ton of sense for the Ducks. Is he still a 4/5?

I dunno I guess I look at it like, do you really want to spend assets on a 34 year old with a year left on his deal?

To me, that's something you do if you're going for a Cup now. I think Anaheim is still a couple years from being there.

Congratulations - you get it more than many ducks fans do.

Utah on the other hand... 4.5% doesn't seem half bad, Dylan.

I actually don’t love the Larkin idea, especially if we’re including a dmen like Mintyukov/solberg. Our focus needs to be rhd and prob top 6 winger… I’m cool with granlund as 2c w/ McQueen in waiting.

If it’s just straight across mctavish + picks or expendable piece like zellweger… I’m for it… but if Detroit wants our young dmen that seem like the plan for our defense I’d prob pass.
Larkin only makes sense for thr ducks if MacT is the center piece of the deal. McQueen and Solberg are off limits(in a larkin deal ) I would bet my soul on this

Vegas would have to get a third team involved, but Karlsson, Dorofeyev, Connelly, and a 1st could probably morph into an interesting package for Detroit. And Vegas is obviously decisive enough to make that happen if they’re so inclined.

I would do dorofyev, Connelly, 1st from Vegas and turn around and offer sheet dorofyev if they don’t accept it :naughty:
