Looks clean to me. 2 minutes for hitting too hard.
Given how Pavelski is laying on the ice motionless he's either really hurt or should retire and be an actor. I think jaw is probably a solid guessYep. I can't say 100% because there wasn't a great view. But if I had to bet I'd say he caught his jaw first. The officiating in this game is dangerous.
I really like Pavelski and hope he's okay, but I think this is a play where the outcome makes a hit look worse than it really was. It was a bit late and a bit unnecessary, but this is playoff hockey
Watch Hartman's stick!
It's 100% the jaw because he gets smoked by Hartman's stick, which gets whipped into his face.Appears to be jaw.
The rules are applied differently in the playoffs. Doesn't matter if I think they should be or notAre you suggesting that different rules should apply in the playoffs?
Just worry about your own cheap shot artist Howdy Doody McAvoy.
It was reduced to nothing. The roughing penalty called was due to the stuff with Domi after a clean hit.Was reduced to a 2 min penalty after review.
Late hit. Other than that, bad outcome but not on Dumba that Pavelski's head hit the ice.
That's untrue. He got a 2:00 minor roughing penalty for his hit on Joe Pavelski. That's how the NHL stats have it at least. It was reduced to nothing. The roughing penalty called was due to the stuff with Domi after a clean hit.
I mean it wasn't though...find a view from behind the net and it was chest/headThat looked shoulder to shoulder.
C'mon, he is not laughing at Pavelski's injury.Dumba spending the entire time laughing in the box while a guy gets helped off with a potential brain injury. Minnesota classy as always.
