I think I'm going to throw up
Wendel Clark during his brief Islander stint in 1995-96
Im trying to imagine what the alternate universe where Luongo isnt thrown away by Milbury and Lu plays out his career, lets say till at least 2007 on Long Island.Luongo
So maybe this is the jersey DiPietro deserved all the time after all?Im trying to imagine what the alternate universe where Luongo isnt thrown away by Milbury and Lu plays out his career, lets say till at least 2007 on Long Island.
Im stumped

Looks wayyyy better than Montreal.

In most of them Id guess DiPietro ends up as something equivalent to a Vokoun or Mason. He wasnt that bad of a raw talent, just comically bad timing.
Peering into my crystal ball, Im gonna speculate that if Lu stays an Isle, he develops in time to be the starter for the 2002 team which beats Toronto in the opening round and could go either way against a similar Canes team in round 2. Ottawa goes to the finals, but not against the Red Wings, who lost a bitterly contested series against the Blues and a familiar face they discarded in favour of newer shinier UFA toys
