J.P. Parise in a Cleveland Barons uniform was kind of unusual, though he looked good in anything (as does his son Zach) :)

Rick Wamsley, who mostly played for Calgary/Montreal/St. Louis, as a Toronto Maple Leaf

In the 90's, some players would suit up for an IHL team while holding out with their NHL clubs. Some off the top of my head:

Harry Howell. After playing 17 seasons with the New York Rangers - and while recovering from surgery - he was approached by GM Emile Francis with the suggestion that he - Howell - hang up his jersey and assume a non-playing role with the Rangers. Harry said he wanted to continue playing, and requested a trade to one of the West Coast teams. During the 1969-70 season, he donned the jersey of the Oakland Seals. Howell would play parts of two seasons in Oakland, parts of three seasons in Los Angeles, and then three seasons in the WHA. His teammates - from the start of his career and until the end - all praised him for being a perfect gentleman and a true professional.

In light of his death the other day, Bobby Schmautz is pictured here in an Oilers uniform. Likely most notable for his time with the Bruins (though I grew up knowing him as an early Canuck), he played 29 games for Edmonton during the 1979-80 season.

He also played 20 games for the Rockies that year, but I couldn't find a decent photo to add here.

Ron Hextall is obviously a Flyer-lifer, and while I have no problem remembering his brief period with Quebec, his stint with the Islanders just seems... wrong.

Not exactly a "uniform" per se, but here's Maurice Richard in 1972, wearing the WHA Nordiques' shirt:

Here's a quote from 'Canada Coin News's' website:

Marius Fortier, one of the Nordiques’ six founders, offered Richard a job as the team’s head coach—a dream position for Richard, who quickly accepted the position; however, after losing his first game 2-0 on the road against the Cleveland Crusaders, Richard handed in his resignation.
“It’s that simple,” he told Fortier. “I’ll die behind the bench, and I love life too much to do that.”

Fortier convinced him to stay for another game while he found a replacement, but Richard was unable to follow the tempo during his team’s second game, this at home against the Alberta Oilers. Defenceman Jean-Claude Tremblay managed the line changes and team strategy.

On Oct. 14, 1972, La Presse reported that during the game against Alberta, which was losing to the Nordiques after a “brilliant performance,” Richard was “nervous, shaking occasionally like a leaf.”

Richard quit that day and was replaced by Maurice Filion.

Nah Burke played for the Gulls in 92, Khabibulin played in IHL during the 97 season iirc. Bondra signed with the Vipers at the beginning of the 96 season. Joseph played in IHL while being an unsigned RFA (I know I know UFA group something) by the Oilers

That guy looks extremely old, but according to Eliteprospects, he should be around 37 at the time of the picture being taken. Did people age faster back then?
