- Lindholm, Klingberg & Chychrun, if traded, will get 1sts; or the prospect-equivalent of one, plus another asset. The fact that it's a deep pool of rentals isn't going to "reduce the single-piece quality" -- it's just going to mean that you're not talking multiple high end pieces.
- Giordano MIGHT get that kind of value, if Lindholm/Klingberg/Chychrun aren't traded (or maybe only one of them) as he becomes the "next best". After that, you've got Manson & Chiarot, who in a normal year might flirt with a 1st round pick type of valuation, but probably not this year.
- Everyone else will fall into line after that.
While yes, the "market" for rentals is dictated by supply & demand, and an oversupply will generally reduce price, teams are still going to be willing to pay for star talent, which Lindholm absolutely is.
