OP's return for Anaheim covers the retained salary, there just needs to be value for Lindholm.
I will bet you any number you’d like that if he’s available, he absolutely gets a 1st.

Savard got a first a year ago. Lindholm is much much better than Savard

Less than a number if Flyers D that were essentially cap dumps.
A pick likely less then twenty spots ahead of what Schmidt got as a cap dump.

Supply is high for average defensemen, demand is also high for defensemen in general though. Supply for elite defensemen like Lindholm is low. Only others worth remotely as much are Gio and maybe Klingberg
