I know times are tough, but surely the org can spring for getting this poor ailing duck some eye drops...
(Or maybe someone to do the slightest bit of quality assurance on ideas like this?)

Wild Wings' eyes induce, "Puff, puff, pass... "

Probably best to give Wild Wing actual eyes with an orange iris.

I don't know what it is about the red eyes, but somehow they make the lump on the top of Wild Wing's head much more conspicuous. It was barely noticeable before, now it looks equal parts man bun and equal parts brain tumour.

Yeah I'd be curious to see if they even mocked up doing it another way. There were probably ways to make it work.

Looking again, I think some of it is that it's just a flat and very bad, dull shade of orange. They should've looked at the eyes on Gibby's old mask.

I was trying to figure out where I had seen the orange eyes before and this is it. Yeah if they would have used some shading like this it would be 100x better.

The new WW eyes look like a bad cartoon fly

I don't overly care about mascots generally, and if they don't change it, I won't lose any sleep, but yeah that eye change on Wild Wing is beating a dead horse on the "Orange Country" insistence and it looks bad. How many mascots look nothing like the logo? Why do they need to change a look that has worked well for decades?

Anyone get their jersey yet? Reports on Facebook that they run pretty small, which is why I didn’t preorder. Also, the insane prices. Looking to get firsthand info on them though.

Mine just came today, it doesn’t run as small as the Facebook groups made it seem. Maybe slightly smaller than others but nothing crazy. If you are worried maybe go a size up but for my size (54) it ran similar to my others.

FYI, I just ordered a Carlsson home jersey from the team store. They said they estimate I can pick it up in 2 weeks, but they're trying to finish them sooner if they can. They said the letters are stitched on the name plate, but the plate is pressed on.

Somehow the price I paid for an authentic including customization and shipping is less than what a blank authentic pre-order is running for online. Not by a lot, but still. I'm nervous they're sending me the wrong jersey even though they assured me like three times it's the new home jersey.

Well... apparently you're more likeable over the phone than I am!

You actually made me worry, so I called and checked on my order too. I don't know if the jersey they're selling is the same as the authentic pro pre-order that's online. I compared the photos of the $200 (+125 for customization) jersey from the team store website (the one I got) and the Authentic Pro from the fanatics site. They both have the same neck design and stitching, the same fanatics patch on the back and both seem to have a fight strap. They look like they have different writing inside the neck though. So, I'm not really sure.

They also gave me the update that mine could be ready for pick up in a couple days now.

The orange eyes on Wild Wing are fine (they aren’t nearly as bright and jarring in person as the photo makes them look) but the gold mouth looks hideous

I think they almost had to so it didnt get lost with the other orange of the jersey
