Ducks 3rd Jersey, Uniforms & Logo Discussion continued

  • Xenforo Cloud will be upgrading us to version 2.3.5 on March 3rd at 12 AM GMT. This version has increased stability and fixes several bugs. We expect downtime for the duration of the update. The first logo is instantly recognizable while few outside of die hard hockey fans or those in the Anaheim area know the new logo and that brand recognition will never catch up with the original, ever. I thought the rebranding was lame, I remember articles about the black and gold colors being taken from Army's college teams, how do they have anything to do with the Ducks? It just seems like we were trying to copy the Kings. Also, the Penguins seem to do fine with a logo that is more "cartoon-ish" than anything we have had.

Embrace the fact that you are a fan of a team called the Ducks. It's a silly name, own it.

This is flawless. The best attempt I've seen yet at having a lot of orange and gold on the same jersey and having it contrast well. Everything from the continuity in the stripes to the logo, the traditional font, the different colored NOB... This is absolutely gorgeous.
 
Now i approve.

But really, i would like it to have OC on the shoulders. At least one of them, would make more sense to me (as it is rocking that orange color, duh)

I guess i`m just happy we have a jersey that doesn`t have vertical stripes in armpits and have straight horizontal lines.

Surprised it has already leaked (or am i?)

EDIT: that isn`t gold. That is beach sand :D
 
I think I would have liked it if there was black shoulders on it like the current jerseys to break up the Orange some. Otherwise I could take it or leave it.
 
Those will look really sharp in uniform.

Assuming they go with black gloves/black pants/orange socks
 
Those are amazing

You guys are really nitpicking the hell out of them. Best jersey we've had in years...not even up for debate

I've been hoping Samueli would do something like this for years. I will definitely be getting one of those at some point

Love it, now I wonder if they are gonna tweak the shoulder patches on our main jerseys since the color scheme is different.
 
I actually think the design is nice but the yellow sticks are atrocious. Absolutely atrocious. No excuse for orange, gold and yellow to be on the same jersey.
 
I'm fine with this jersey, but those sleeves... Because the sleeves have the sock pattern from the previous uniforms, they remind me of those pants with zippers that you can unzip for shorts.

What color would you change the sticks to? You wouldn't be able to see orange ones very well.
