I love grundstrom but my point was he is still a 2nd round pick it’s not like hunter found a top liner in the 2nd round. Dermott is a top4 d imo so that is an example of hunter being a top scout. Does that make sense? I’m probably not wording it properly.

When one divisional foe has Steve Yzerman as their GM, and you have Kyle Dubas.. guess what? You aren’t going to win.

Would rather have a GM that has driven the bus before but it is not all one 1 man. He needs to have quality people around him, so that he can make the right decisions. A good GM is only as good as the people working for/with him.

I may not wholeheartedly agree with the decision to put a rookie GM at the helm at this particular point in time, but I support Shanny's decision and I trust his judgement.

I hope the rumours regarding Hunter were false and that he stays in the fold.

What do you think was said about Stevie Y when he first started? Hell he was actually taking some flack until TB turned things around in 2014 and everyone saw his development plan bearing fruit.

Not happy with this, especially if it’s going to cost us Hunter.

I just don’t think he’s ready, no rhyme or reason to the feeling, but it’s there.

I think other GMs are thinking they are going to school him and I very much wanted Lou doing our Big 3’s contracts.

I will be more than happy to eat my words but not a good feeling.
