I am glad this happened and it didn't drag on. I don't know a lot about Dubas. I am glad he is now going to be a vocal part of this mgmt group.
He's got a lot of homework now:
Draft
July 1st
Trades
Fair enough. I'd like to give him some more time to see if those picks he made turn out to be great. Like if Raasen becomes a top 4 D who is 6 foot 7 then Hunter looks like a god lolI love grundstrom but my point was he is still a 2nd round pick it’s not like hunter found a top liner in the 2nd round. Dermott is a top4 d imo so that is an example of hunter being a top scout. Does that make sense? I’m probably not wording it properly.
Essentially I’m saying hunter is a average to above average scout not some super scout if he demands to leave he isn’t one of a kind

Why? I see no reason why he would go.I would guess he's gone before October
oh ffs
Maybe give him some time before making such ridiculous statements
When one divisional foe has Steve Yzerman as their GM, and you have Kyle Dubas.. guess what? You aren’t going to win.
He can cut his homework down real quick by signing Tavares on or before July 1st.
Guess what? You have 2 GMs that haven't won anything. Funny how quick you are to abandon that argument because you want to compare Dubas to Yzerman. Back to the ignore list you goWhen one divisional foe has Steve Yzerman as their GM, and you have Kyle Dubas.. guess what? You aren’t going to win.
No better place to win his firstDubas has never won a championship as GM, at any level. Just a fact.
If Babcock is still stuck in the dumb Boomers mentality that someone younger can't be better than you/deserving of respect, he's got to go.The only thing I see is Babcock head butting with him because of the age difference
LOL, truer words were never spoken on these boards.im so happy for the people on the forums upset about this. that means its a great move since this forum couldnt hit water out of a boat with most of its analysis of players/coaches/gms
What do you think was said about Stevie Y when he first started? Hell he was actually taking some flack until TB turned things around in 2014 and everyone saw his development plan bearing fruit. When one divisional foe has Steve Yzerman as their GM, and you have Kyle Dubas.. guess what? You aren’t going to win.
Has he headbutted with Shannahan? The only thing I see is Babcock head butting with him because of the age difference
