Going forward he’s not above lunuea in our long term plans. We have the kid Moore whos rh also to sign.

We have been super lucky with injuries. Depth I a great asset and we shouldn’t be in rush to deplete.Verbeek will probably re-sign Trouba, but not Gudas. Luneau and Helleson will probably play much of next year and the team will move Gudas at some point.
The real decision is on the other side with LaCombe, Zellweger, Mintyukov, and Solberg.

People were saying it was a terrible return before the season tooThe Josh Manson trade is looking pretty good right now.
We got Helleson and Terrance so if only Helleson works out I think that is still a win.
Outside of coaching hire, Verbeek has overall been pretty good. Killorn is probably the only really bad signing, but that's more due to usage and pay (pay isn't as much of an issue for the Ducks). He's been aggressive in free agency, most of his trades have worked out (and the Gauthier one could be franchise alrering)... if he fixes the coaching issue, Ducks can be a playoff team as early as next year.People were saying it was a terrible return before the season too
We also got Luneau and Clang for Rakell.
Say what you want about Verbeek but some of his trades look really good at this point
Way better than the Lindholm trade. We still have to wait for Gaucher and Clara from lindholm trade to pan out but its looking like the Manson trade could end up having more value long term and certainly more short term as Helleson is playing now.The Josh Manson trade is looking pretty good right now.

I think ive always been warmer on helleson (even prior to the trade)...I think he still has #4 potential. Worst case think he is a high end bottom pairing D.
Should be noted that the 2024 2nd in the Lindholm trade enabled the team to trade up for Solberg.Way better than the Lindholm trade. It’s crazy the amount of talent/potential we have on the back end. What an amazing trade for Manson and they got a second out of it too. He fits what we need very well and rounds out a very promising blueline.
Not gonna lie, after he struggled a bit in the ahl I had zero faith that he would be an NHL regular. We are going to have to make another trade and get another young g forward. It’s crazy the amount of talent/potential we have on the back end.
Helleson has been a nice surprise, tho I liked that pick up from the start…. But moore is looking like he’s prob nhl ready too

That second turned into Terrance as well. Looking like a reasonably decent pick. What an amazing trade for Manson and they got a second out of it too. He fits what we need very well and rounds out a very promising blueline.
He’s been awesome. Our best RHD this year.
Been saying this for a while, but I’d love to see a LaCombe-Helleson pairing. That could be a legit top pairing for next season.
Unfortunately, our coach is too dumb to try something fun
