That's pretty impressive actually, considering the apparent inability of the Oiler's top guys to score on the EN.at least 13 EN points
His scoring lead is on the back of EN points

How about us dominating game 3 and Skinner gives the puck away behind the net leading us to lose. If we grab game 3 we have a chance. There is a reason that nobody comes back from 3-0 down.Draisaitl and McDavid's numbers weren't anything spectacular in rounds 3 and 4 last year though. They definitely weren't "video game numbers". Skinner's were though. That's why some of us think he is good enough to take us to the cup. It was the forwards that let the team down late in the playoffs last season, not Skinner. If our offence shows up in games 1, 2 or 7 we are Stanley Cup champions.
Either way the constant attacks on Skinner are so tiring. When he plays bad his stats are posted ad nauseam. When he has great stats he gets attacked because he didn't look good enough (like he could ever look good enough to some of these posters). He's been putting up great numbers for 6 weeks now and people still refuse to give him any credit. Normal fans would just enjoy it.
Interesting graphic for a number of reasons. 1) it Illustrates what kind of a money player Anderson was. Is this including playoffs? Because Andy was money in playoffs as well.
One of the dumbest comments I’ve ever read on here. That's ridiculous. Don't be stupid. Skinner remains a 26 year old goalie making under 3M dollars and you guys expect a 10M Vezina performance out of him or he sucks.
How about scoring more than once in three games in Florida. How about us dominating game 3 and Skinner gives the puck away behind the net leading us to lose. If we grab game 3 we have a chance. There is a reason that nobody comes back from 3-0 down.
Terry Jones never forgave Dally for having the donuts for the press guys replaced with veggies.Eakins. Never seen such an elite head of hockey hair. Never seen such a huge regression in hockey hair either when his Anaheim days were over with lol.
Theres actually a lot of merit to what that poster said. One of the dumbest comments I’ve ever read on here.
Edit: not yours. His.
How about scoring more than once in three games in Florida.
True. And if this shit happens in the playoffs, our fanbase deserves to lose. It's sad how many people on here actually want Skinner (and the Oilers with him) to fail just so they can be "right". That's not what being a fan is.
Yet Bouchard was better than McDavid this game, or Draisaitl until the last 90 seconds.@Tobias Kahun did you see Bouchard with the ozone slash with 2min left? Just like the 3 on 1 with 4min left, he got lucky again.
How about that cross ice slot giveaway in the 2nd? Right in the slot ffs
Bouchard sucks this year. He should have had 3 against that game easily
Funny, but not how they occurred and Hall was pretty much disrespectful of a great player. Its unfortunate because this side and aspect of Hall was not very enamoring. I'm sure Anderson only had to point at a handful of SC rings and tell him to f*** off.Notable time to bring up one of Taylor Hall's most memorable lines when Anderson was spending too much time around the young guys during the DOD and was chirping them...
"Ya, congrats Andy for scoring the 4th goal in an 8-3 win, 27 times in 1984."
I don't care who you are or what you think of Hall, that's funny lol
Would’ve been nice. Might not have been needed, if we had a different goalie. How about scoring more than once in three games in Florida.
Just going by the eye test I’d guess the oilers had at least twice as many high danger scoring chances for than they did against. Anyone have the final tally?
It's tough, but he's got to move that deep imo.Frustrating that Brown has a Ducks' stick into his hands that causes him to throw a live grenade towards Bouchard on the first Anaheim goal. Then Henrique is called for the same stick into the hands, which gives the Ducks their second goal.
No, you probably still need goal scoring.Would’ve been nice. Might not have been needed, if we had a different goalie.
Actually Lowe asked Anderson to stop coming around and getting drunk with the young players.Funny, but not how they occurred and Hall was pretty much disrespectful of a great player. Its unfortunate because this side and aspect of Hall was not very enamoring. I'm sure Anderson only had to point at a handful of SC rings and tell him to f*** off.
Can’t win when you don’t score.Would’ve been nice. Might not have been needed, if we had a different goalie.
No, we simply want a real #1 goalie befitting a great club. Its as simple as that. It's sad how many people on here actually want Skinner (and the Oilers with him) to fail just so they can be "right". That's not what being a fan is.
That’s all he gave him. And with a positional and big goalie, you could make that argument.Every single breakaway went by Skinner like a rented mule. Thank God the post saved the Oilers on all of them
That part is par for the course. Anderson had become a smarmy barfly by then and really he was no angel any of the time. Could tell some stories. I like Anderson, but as a person he had a lot of problems.Actually Lowe asked Anderson to stop coming around and getting drunk with the young players.
