Islands in the stream.
Every single breakaway went by Skinner like a rented mule. Thank God the post saved the Oilers on all of them
So I wasn't the only one that noticed that Skins got beat on every breakaway. Sure they happen, Oilers had multiple as well. End of the day you need your goalie to stop some of them. Skinners posts stopped more breakaways than Skinner did. 1G zero stops, 2 posts. Charmed life.

On the breakaway goal allowed its a hot pressure back situation, guy can barely do anything with puck because back pressure coming. If Skinner even lays on the ice there across net its a stop. He gives up 5 hole on really what was a contested breakaway. Weaksauce.

shocking that the Ducks goalie made some high danger saves. Thought they weren't supposed to do that! "Never his fault Skinner" certainly seems to think so.

Keep defending an average goalie while shitting on 2 of the best players on the planet. I'm enjoying the disconnect.
I will....unlike most around, I know he's an average goalie and getting paid like one

you, for some reason, think he should be Hellybuyck...dude gave up 2 goals tonight...in a 3-2 league, that will be enough to win most nights

It's sad how many people on here actually want Skinner (and the Oilers with him) to fail just so they can be "right". That's not what being a fan is.
Being a fan is wanting the Cup. Some of us just don't think Skinner is good enough to win a Cup with.

"But...but he got them to game 7". Ya and all it took was our superstars putting up videogame offensive numbers that haven't been seen since the 80's. It's hard to get blood from a stone and to ask more from our stars. I'd rather have at least a tandem guy to help Skinner out when he goes cold.

And yeh just to reiterate.

If there’s anyone built to have a Jagr like longevity career. It’s gotta be Drai no?

They are both built like tanks and protect the puck like animals.
McDavid too in my option. Both base talents age well. Fast guys and skilled, strong guys who dominate along the boards.
