Eskimos select a zillion-time champion as their OC, Blanton Collier.

Collier learned up Paul Brown in the Cleveland Browns heyday. Known for his backfield and quarterback coaching, he'll be a perfect for this team.

Referred to as the father of film, he is considered to first to regularly use game film to scout his opponents. That helped him take over an impossible situation, replacing the legendary Paul Brown in Cleveland. Which he did with aplomb.

In his eight years as the head coach in Cleveland, he oversaw a top-3 rushing attack in all but two of them (one of which was a 5th place finish). He retired from coaching - due to hearing loss - with a near .700 win pct.

He was also the original PFF...
"Everything had to be perfect; he was a stickler on perfection – but at the same time, he had great patience," Browns quarterback Otto Graham said.[6] After the 1946 season, Brown asked Collier to analyze every play run by the offense, and Collier came up with a detailed breakdown of why each play succeeded or failed. This was the genesis of an annual grading system Collier developed to evaluate players' performances.

A largely unheralded coach because his shot at being the head guy didn't go so well, but he had to follow Vince Lombardi in Green Bay - a job more difficult than Peter the Apostle had following Jesus Christ in leading the Church.

He was defensive coordinator for the Lombardi Packers, which means he was the mind behind coaching up a shit ton of guys into Hall of Famers. It got to the point where the Hall is leaving some of them out because voters got tired of putting them in. I feel that bodes well for me in just making any player on my defense who isn't in becomes a hall of famer by acclimation.
