If he’s got compete and a good drive this could be a good pick. Just quickly looked at some of his highlights he scores in the middle of the ice, not a perimeter guy at all.

This is my thing - if *everything goes right* for this guy in his next two years of development, he'll only just barely start to sniff cristall's current level. Just embarrassing for our staff really

I don't hate it. To me, this part of the draft is wide open.
I would've liked Lardis more, but I did like Cowan going into the draft. Just didn't expect him to be a first rounder

This could be a pick that looks a lot better a year from now if he has a strong year this year
