Yeah? This years draft is a lot higher on talent.
The point is targeting the right ones is nice, but if you don’t get them it the end does it matter?

Exactly. If he's available at 7 we have to swap with Vancouver.Well Chicago will take him at 8 so their only shot is moving up.
"With the 9th overall pick, the New York Rangers are proud to select, from the Ontario Hockey League, Ryan Merkley"

If we don't move and the board breaks how most are predicting I think Chicago is going to take Wahlstrom.

Alright at least someone is on my side hereim honestly wearing nothing rangers related
i never feel obligated to wear them to rangers gatherings; like, I’m there, I’m obviously a Rangers fan, or at the very least a hockey fan

NO Merkley. NO Boqvist. No Woo. No one already carrying serious question marks and injury/concussion histories and maybe that includes Kaut and his little heart whatever. Too many tremendous, high ceiling prospects here without early warning signs... take those.Personally he wouldn't even be on my radar till 48 - MAYBE. 70 I definitely take a flier on him.
Hayes and Staal for Lindholm and TVR

You should be arrested for war crimes.‘With the 9th overall spot, the New York Rangers select Isac Lundeström. Over to you Pierre, what is your thoughts on this selection, a bit of a surprise? The New York Rangers two season ago really liked what they got from another Swede, Oscar Lindberg, and with this selection they get a player in Isac Lundeström who not only is from the same neck of the woods as Oscar Lindberg but also plays the same style. We have an interview with Jeff Gorton. Obviously we are thrilled with this pick, we Lundeström and Dahlin has been at the top of our list all year.”
