I would live with Bouchard as long as we hit homeruns with forwards later, and especially if we trade a player for a mid teens pick and then landed someone like Kratsov or Farabee there.

Ironically, I really don't think the skating is all that different. I think Bouchard's was a bit easier to pick apart because he had to run London's offense.

Some wild speculation on really off the boards pick. I could see Vancouver being interested in K’Andre Miller. If they move back — is it him they are looking at?

I could also see DRW being really interested in Kravtsov. They have reached before. They are not scared to go off the board. Would they even try Kravtsov back at center (he had played there when he was younger, right?)?

My own preference would be for Dobson to fall somehow... and I'd also be OK with Tkachuk or Kotkaniemi or any of the three you list here. A little afraid of Wahlstrom being yet another Ranger floater, but there are plenty of opinions out here to the contrary, so... OK there too, I guess. I haven't left Gorton & Co. too many ways to thoroughly outrage me with the first NYR pick tonight, so agreed... let's just DO this already! The afternoon is dragging horribly. Time to crack the first bottle.

I had said this a couple weeks back, some agreed. Redden actually had a very good shot. Solid comp IMO.

That's a pretty good pick. He was a solid player in his pre NYR years.
