That seems like kinda iffy value for the 7th? Brown isn't anything special, Nielsen isn't either, and a 2nd is a long way to trade back to pick

I mean, it's a current bottom six player, a possibly future bottom six player, and a later 2nd draft pick. That's not terribly good value. I'd be shocked if Vancouver is that dumb

If the Rangers move up it's for Tkachuk or Hughes--if they stand pat at 9 they'll grab Wahlstrom if he's still around. If not it might be someone like Bouchard.

My gut tells me they try to move up but trying and doing can be different things. Whether in the long run it turns out to be a good idea to move up I don't know but if it were me I would try to move up for either Tkachuk or Hughes.
