No you don’t.I kinda want Turris on a 1y show me deal.
I think if we do move for a goalie. It will be via trade, Raanta, Kuemper, or Demko maybe.
Even if you don't consider money or cap, seems like they have a fairly big problem with Fleury given what got put out there in the playoffs.
But they’re decidedly worse until then, having dealt Stastny. They need more CsLehner was signed at a low enough cap hit that they can keep Fleury as a backup/platoon guy until they deal his last year in the next offseason.

Again, I'm not talking about money. I'm talking about keeping a guy that clearly had issues with his role and now is cemented to be in that role if he stays.Lehner was signed at a low enough cap hit that they can keep Fleury as a backup/platoon guy until they deal his last year in the next offseason. Unless, of course, they know that Petro is ready to sign that paperwork, but IMO any big UFA is a long-shot.
Looks like Vegas has about $3-4 million in Cap space now. Going to need to move out Fleury still to bring in Pietrangelo.
That’s a pretty interesting take, considering after their playoff ouster, the consensus was “man they’re weak down the middle.”Vegas dealt from a position of luxury. They have Glass, Stephenson, and Roy, whom can all play center pretty well. If Glass takes the next step, he could well replace Stastny's production. It's a significant risk, however, as all young players are.
I was going to say the same thing. That’s a pretty interesting take, considering after their playoff ouster, the consensus was “man they’re weak down the middle.”
And not fan consensus, people across the league who know what’s what.
I agree that if they roll with what they have it would take a big step forward by Glass or perhaps a deadline acquisition of a better center. Not impossible to win with what they have down the middle but they need to improve. That’s a pretty interesting take, considering after their playoff ouster, the consensus was “man they’re weak down the middle.”

"11-year-old Andrei Svechnikov was stretchered off the ice during the 1st period of Tuesday's tilt against the Canadians after receiving a hard hit against the boards from defenseman Hal Gill. He was transported to a local hospital where it is reported he is in serious condition."

Glass does have the potential but only has about 70 games of pro hockey experience over the last 2 years. The other guys are bottom 6 players at best, Stephenson can maybe play 2nd line center but ultimately puts them at a disadvantage with most serious contenders.Vegas dealt from a position of luxury. Meh, after the qualifier round, I'm not worried. It's annoying that Lundqvist is going directly to the Capitals. Especially with Laviolette there. Canes can't catch a break with the King.
