two picks in 2007 led to McDonagh and Pacioretty.why is it every year the year the habs have a #1 or now 2 picks and it is a weak draft. darn it
One at a time, I would think. Should take his allotted time on each, in case an unexpected FOMO offer drops in.does KH pick the two picks at the same time?
I did a 2 round mock for fun and had him going to us at 41 (and Kettles at 49)
Not at all the same type of player than Evans.Upside..Jake Evans with size and worse skating?
I'm still pissed they slept on his teammate Protas so pass.
Good list;
Intro:
Hi everyone, after a year off from posting my list, I've had a lost more time this season to evaluate this year's class. As usual, I'll rattle off some FAQ's for those who may be curious on the methodology and formulation.
- These are draft rankings, not a mock draft or a prediction of how they'll be picked on June 27th. They're ranked as my best shot of guessing how their careers will go (with a ton of hedging and weighing risk vs. reward). If it was a mock, I'd put Brady Martin in my top 5 and have guys like Ekberg, Schmidt, etc. much farther down

Predicting the 1st 32 and to whom they get picked by...................as Toe Blake used to say, predictions are for gypsies!! lol
It just takes 1-2 guys off the board, and there goes the neighborhood............let the chips fall guys....
For me, no way the habs make 12 selections.............they will be making a couple of trades. 9-10 picks max......
The usual PR. I don’t even know why they bother with pressers just before the draft.Reminder: Jeff Gorton will be speaking with us tomorrow at 3 p.m., in advance of this weekend's draft."

Do you remember last year’s Habs presser around this time?
Coulda fooled me!
And Subban in the 2nd Round.two picks in 2007 led to McDonagh and Pacioretty.
You don't think Pitt is more likely to trade down now that they have two picks?Let me do a summation.
Islanders - won't trade 1.
Sharks - won't trade 2 and don't need more picks.
Hawks - don't need more picks.
Mammoth - don't need more picks.
Predators - won't trade out of getting a top center in the class.
Flyers - Don't need more picks
Bruins - need more picks, won't trade out of getting a top center in the class.
Kraken - Don't need more picks.
Sabres - Don't need more picks.
Ducks - Don't need more picks.
Penguins - Have back to back picks now.
Red Wings - Don't need more picks.
Blue Jackets - Don't need more picks.
Canucks - Will definitely swap.
So they can get to 15.

Apparently Waddell said they'd like to get their 2026 2nd back. Not sure how desperate they are but i think 14 is not out of the question if that the case.
And some people listen to JFresh...
He said he forgot to remove the 29 after he dropped him to 49.Tough to believe in a list with two Jack Nesbitt
Yes, i know.We have their 2025 2nd.
Yes, i know.
What's your point?
Grant said the rumor behind the scenes right now is Pitt is trying to move up to draft Martone. You don't think Pitt is more likely to trade down now that they have two picks?

I was talking about Waddell and the Blue Jackets for the 2026 2nd. Two different things. Not sure how getting their 2026 2nd back impacts us if we have their 2025 2nd.
Yes, i was the one who brought it up...lolGrant said the rumor behind the scenes right now is Pitt is trying to move up to draft Martone.
