They opened a Taco Bell in the Netherlands a few years ago, but people didn't go because they were too expensive. There's a chain called Taco Mundo in the Netherlands that has better tacos at better prices.

A year or so later they closed their only restaurant and left

Taco Bell was too expensive!?!? Did they serve real meat there or something?

Oh, chain restaurants here are so different from the US.

I actually like Burger King, KFC and McDonald's here but in the US, I always feel uneasy because everything is so greasy

I've heard that. I don't eat fast food (except Chick-Fil-A), but I heard they just use better ingredients at international fast food joints than they do in the US.

I have to agree. The Burger King and McDonald's at Amsterdam's Schiphol airport were semi-edible compared to the US. I would always hit McDonalds before those long flights back to the US.

It's all local ingredients. The recipes are the same of course, but here in Austria for instance they use potatoes grown here. I'm no expert on the difference soil makes to something as simple as a potato, but it's just an example. Same with the meat.

Makes sense. Nice to know you can eat a Chicken McNugget and not devour a chicken full of antibiotics and steroids and other gross shit.

Lol just when I thought this thread couldn’t get any better.
This is the direct result of a draft being delayed into October. Blame the pandemic for what has transpired here. Also, please freeze me body until Tuesday night already, JFC.

I actually had German Geschnetzeltes the other day and that has been my favorite f***ing thing in the world!!

Anyways... Back to the draft. It's so close guys and gals!!

I'm aware that I have Ottawa and New Jersey picking 3 forwards each. In Ottawa's case adding both Stutzle and Raymond is like aiming at getting two first line forwards in one go. Later on they drafted Peterka who like Stutzle is one of the few Germans in the draft. In New Jersey's case I think they need wingers which is why they might take Holtz over Rossi.

As far as Grieg is concerned--he's one of the youngest guys in the draft. There are elements to his game that could be very useful for the Rangers in the future. However others see it I don't think if we pick a forward at 22 he is likely to become a top 6 player for us anytime soon. So getting a rounded player who might get there someday but in the meantime can work his way up from the 4th to the 3rd to maybe the 2nd line is better than someone who is top 6 or bust.
