Literally only the Rangers could draft 2OA and 1OA back to back and have both players amount to a cumulative pile of poop.

But then you have the Devils, who sucked slightly more than us, get the 1OA in 2019 and the guy is a franchise forward.

A lot of people don't realize how much luck plays into winning in professional sports. Both our picks were consensus, nothing we could've done.

Also have to mention had had a highly touted 1st round pick pass away. Organization is cursed, man
The Oilers went RNH/Yakupov back-to-back at 1st OA. While RNH has become a nice player, that at least gives KK/Laf a run for their $$

Love the "scary good" Devils post on the mains. Hope they keep inflating those egos, it'll make the playoff failure that much sweeter.

Rangers could learn some things from how the Devils are built. this is what years of great roster decisions gets you. they sucked last year because they had the wrong coach and no goalie. now those problems have been addressed and they're a powerhouse.

Wait a minute, 12 shots?

TWELVE f***ING SHOTS?!
This team does nothing at 5v5 and the power play had been their saving grace for the past 1, 2 seasons. Now the PP stinks too. They do not know how to generate offense unless it's a dogshit defensive team that passively falls back and lets them crisscross and globetrot.

I feel terrible that one of these draft-eligible prospects (Hagens, Martone, Misa, Schaefer) gets one step closer to having their career ruined every time we lose a game. They should be legitimately concerned.

Respectfully, f*** off
It's the truth.

There's nothing to be proud of aside from your own biases and inclinations.

Look where Mika and Kreider are on the team's all-time scoring lists. A 19-year-old Jesper Bratt (assuming he's the same) would eventually own every Rangers record committed to books, nevermind Jack Hughes.

The next regime should be actively trying to nuke everything this franchise stands for.

We don't need another loser that was a loser in the 70's, 80's, and 90's.

If you're hiring a Ranger, you're hiring a loser.

The roster really isn't that good anymore.

As usual the organization didn't prepare for the downfall of vets like Kreider and Zibanejad.

Now we have aging forwards who aren't good and young forwards who never learned how to be top line NHLers.

We are going to replay the worst of the Lundqvist years.
We're headed towards replaying the worst of the Dunham years.

They're doing the same shit they did with Gallant, dumping it in 1 on 3, 2 on 4, 2 on 3 instead of timing it so forecheckers can actually forecheck.

This was blamed originally on Gallant's defensive system that had the center defending the goal line. That's not happening here, they're just extremely disjointed. They look like they don't practice.
