this iteration of the Rangers was withering away for a month and a half and finally died when they lost to Nashville last week. yesterday was the funeral, today the Devils put us underground for good. i would trade everyone but Fox, Lafreniere, Trocheck, Cuylle and Berard. you have to see what you could get for Panarin now.

The sad part is this there’s no hope. The prospect pool is barren, the young players on this team aren’t all that exciting, and the veterans are playing so poorly trade values are low. Not sure where this team goes from here except continuing to lose games.

If there's any justice out there, maybe this is them being forced by the hockey gods to just be terrible for awhile, and to build a winner the way most teams do.

It's not about saving the season, but you have to fire the coach to save some of the players. The ones you actually want to keep. You cannot keep rolling the same thing out and hoping it'll click.
