zero nervousness, really feel like its house money still. was a bit nervous about Leafs series because I would have hated to lose to them. Canes, I just hate them, but oddly don't care if we lose to them specifically because it seems like we do all the time anyways...so I'm used to it lol

Win would be amazing and I'll be booking my ticket. Lose and this season would still be considered a huge success and I'll just be bbqing. All good.

So on a scale of 1 to 10 how nervous are you for tonight. This is going to be real life kids but I encourage the challenge. Oh btw on a scale of 1 to 10 it was 2000 at noon and it’s about now 1 to 3000 now. lol

Zero, Panthers are 6-1 on road so far, more worried of playing at home.
Have won 7 of their last 8 overall.
Been a hungry team since January on.

They may have some rust to shake but thinking both teams will click before 1st is over.

Going to have to literally weather the storm in the first period, if we are only down by 1, or anything better at the first intermission, I will be encouraged.

Been to OT a couple times with BOS, answered back all series when down a goal and went toe to toe to take it in 7 with a similar makeup in CAR already.

Beat a heavy skilled TOR team and limited them to under 2 goals for a game. Wore on them physically, kept their PP in check for most part going 9 for 11, PK was our biggest issue.

Feelin loose right now and will be even more after dinner.
THIS team can become the #1 team ever in Panthers franchise history with 5-8 more wins. They can win many different ways, let's see if they can haymaker the Canes early and get them to adjust first.

Why not us? Believe!

Let’s see what the boys have in store. I’m trying to bring down my nervousness given the fact it felt like we dodged a bullet by barely getting into the playoffs, so I was just happy and fortunate that we made it, then couldn’t believe we came back in that game 7 with 59 seconds left. I had already accepted our fate leading up to that, absolutely stunned that we came out of that game/series victorious, so hell even round 2 I felt like we were given a second chance at life. Crazy to think we’ve come this far, and while I get nervous the further and closer we get to the ultimate prize, I’m trying to temper my expectations like I have this entire run. It’s out of our control, whether they win or lose its on them and ultimately the better team will come out, I’d go ballistic if we pull it off but I’m pretty terrified honestly of Carolina. Hope we have a good showing against them. They’ve proven me wrong every time so far so we’ll see how the series, not just this first game, goes. I’m just going to try and stay relaxed and just enjoy the ride. Nothings over until it’s over, and we still got a little while before then
When you’ve come this far you want it all… might never get back here again. Took us 24 years no we get this now !!!!!!

We haven't experienced this since 1996. Twenty-Seven years. I can see the buzz around town. And what a terrific surprise from a team I expected nothing from. It's been a great ride.

The journey has been long and arduous since 1996. Far too long and far too difficult. Boy those dark ages were something huh.

So before the games begin, let us remember those we no longer see around here because they either got Banned, got tired of the people here and chose to walk away, got swept away with life and work, or have moved on beyond the rainbow bridge..

Wherever you are, I hope you are seeing this team and smiling and sharing your energy wherever you are.

LOL another throwback with some familiar faces posting here (I was Jok-AtTheDriveIn-En, one of my 500 name changes over the years).

Back when George Richards use to post here too. @Georgia Panther was a great too we haven't seen in a while.

Damn the memories, Olesz, Booth and Frolik talk. Kamil Kreps getting called up

Here's some highlights from that GDT at the top, a 4-3 Panther victory.

Some do. I even saw @Panthers Rock post earlier this season. @EnforceTheLaus and @GrumpyKelly vanished completely =(
@SoupyFIN responded to my discord message too, he's just busy with life. I think ETL may have also passed away :(

HF deleting the old threads was the biggest crime, it was always fun clicking a random page and seeing what nothing player people were excited about. On that page alone, Kreps, Sprukts, Stefan Meyer, Cory Murphy...man times were tough.
