Does anyone else think Fanatics sucks?

Being the official apparel maker for NHL, i figured I'd post it here...

Specifically the quality of their team produced/branded apparel? Most of it is garbage from my experience. Low quality stuff, cheap cotton t-shirts and hoodies that fit weird. Their hats don't look and fit great at all compared to New Era or even Reebok/Adidas.

Some of the 'Pro' version stuff which is what players/staff wear are okay but Reebok and Adidas were alot more high quality to me. Anyone have a similar experience?

Yes. Very much so. When I see something is "Fanatics Branded" (or whatever term they use), I pass. I wouldn't even take it for free. I have bought a few of their t-shirts and they were absolute garbage.

My Fiancé got me an Fanatics Oil jersey and it was literally the lowest quality piece of crap I’ve ever seen. We took it back and got the Adidas version lol

Yeah, and what’s worse is that there aren’t good backup options. If you want a polo shirt, you’re going to get either Fanatics or Antigua. NFL is also “a fanatics experience,” but if I want a polo, I could also get Nike, Vineyard Vines, Cutter and Buck, etc. MLB even has Peter Millar.

Fanatics is garbage. You would be hard pressed to find anyone that thinks otherwise. If you can you are probably talking to a Fanatics employee.

Fanatics is the worst and glad there is a post on this. I am in the apparel business and their designs , fit, and materials used are not worthy of the NHL. They have gone cheap in every aspect of what the make. With ocean freight at an all time high, their bad quality will continue and most likely their prices will rise to cover the increase in shipping costs. If you looking for NHL apparel look to Adidas.

Personally I prefer '47 brand, have worn their stuff for many years.

On the bright side hockey is the only sports they aren't taking over cards for... for now. MLB, NBA, NFL, UFC, and a lot of soccer cards will be made by Fanatics now.

Fanatics merchandise sucks! Rule of thumb -- ALWAYS go a size up on what you normally wear. Not to mention the product is never consistent -- I bought two baseball team jerseys in a hockey style, and one's sleeve was inches shorter than the other. Waste of money.

Except in the past you could pay less for replica jerseys and they would hold up for a decent amount of time. The fanatics stuff is falling apart within the first year.

There's an expectation of lower quality, but not worthless quality.
