Does anyone else think Fanatics sucks?

Yes, there products are sub-par. I also think its garbage how the "Authentic" Adidas Jerseys aren't what they wear on ice (On ice jerseys are made in Canada, the ones sold to the public are made in Indonesia).

Reebok was doing the same, so that's nothing new. Still a poor use of the term Authentic though.

I mean, Reebok was owned by Adidas at the time. I'd also add, there were limited places you could get the authentic made in Canada jerseys such as JerseyBarron on Ebay. I believe since the change from Reebok to Adidas, the only person capable of ordering the made in Canada jerseys are equipment staff for NHL teams.

I do recall that being commented on at the start of the Fanatics takeover too.

We only have what? Another 10 years left of this travesty? (what is it with the NHL and long term exclusive deals anyway)

I was going to say my Reebok jersey seems to be built like a tank compared to my Adidas. Just checked and my Reebok is made in Canada and my Adidas is made in Indonesia.

The Islander fan that bought this jersey probably doesn't like Fanatics very much.

Addias/Fanatics has no such scruples, the term "authentic" is meaningless. Their non authentic gear is worse too. Haven't bought a single branded product since the switch and probably won't.

I don't remember Reebok bastardizing the term "Authentic". They used "Premier Replica" which stores would often sell as authentic but actually weren't. If you got an Authentic Edge 2.0 it was the real deal. NHL shop only carried them for a few teams but you could get all the others elsewhere.

Even the premier replicas were better than most of what you can get now though.

Yeah, and what’s worse is that there aren’t good backup options. If you want a polo shirt, you’re going to get either Fanatics or Antigua. NFL is also “a fanatics experience,” but if I want a polo, I could also get Nike, Vineyard Vines, Cutter and Buck, etc. MLB even has Peter Millar.

VV and Peter Millar have NHL stuff. I think Smathers and Branson even has some licensed needlepoint belts in the areas where they are popular (NY, new england, the south)

No experience with their jerseys, but their non-jersey stuff I've gotten is fine for the price. Nothing special, but definitely not the worst sports gear I've encountered. Not even close. You basically get what you pay for.

These guys recently acquiered the licenses to create NBA, NFL and MLB trading cards, they are making very big moves in that sphere. They recently bought Topps trading cards for 500m usd, im a bit worried about how that will go. Thankfully they havent touched hockey cards yet but it is probably only a matter of time.

Their website sucks, it's rarely updated, and it only has a small fraction of merchandise available for some teams.

I have a bigger issue with their site (well multitudes of different sites that all sell the same exact items) that doesn't allow you the ability to add a freaking apostrophe in a name than the quality of their fanatics branded gear.

This corporation is about $$$ and don't care about quality. Shirts shrink, out of stock frequently, over priced garbage. If their was another option I would use them. I have no problem paying for quality but will not waste my money 9n their junk.

The Fanatics (low-tier) jerseys are definitely worse than the low-tier ones from Reebok used to be
At least they have Adidas (upper-tier) jerseys although those are pricey
IIRC the Fanatics website is also bad but I haven't been to it in a while (wonder why) so can't recall for sure
