The guy got a movie made about him and all he does is lose in the ALDS every time his teams get in. Man, if they win the WS this year they may build Billy Beane World

We talk about the Sharks recent playoff history, how about the A's. 7 trips to the post season under Bean, 1 series win.

1-13 in potential post season clinching games!

I don't know anymore with Beane, I guess he is going to try and out pitch the Tigers/O's.

I mean does anyone in that A's lineup scare Verlander ? or Chen ?

Hint: Vin Scully's alma mater was the inspiration for the NFL Rams' name.

I know the answer since its directly from the Wiki entry, but let's see if someone can guess it.

As soon as I found out where he was from, I knew the answer. But I admittedly didn't know the reason why until reading the Wiki entry for the team.

I don't even know what this means.

Kobe was never in a Hornet's uniform, much less going back to Charlotte.

.....

The first guard to ever be taken out of high school, Bryant was chosen as the 13th overall draft pick by the Charlotte Hornets in 1996. According to Arn Tellem, Bryant's agent at the time, Bryant playing for the Charlotte Hornets was "an impossibility". However, Bill Branch, the Hornets' head scout at the time, said that the Hornets agreed to trade their draft selection to the Lakers before picking Bryant. The teams agreed to the trade the day before the draft and the Lakers did not tell the Hornets whom to select until five minutes before the pick was made.Branch said that prior to the trade agreement, the Hornets never even considered drafting Bryant.

Is he referring to Wiggins?

Because it still doesn't make sense to me if this is a "LeBron" comparison to Kobe himself. He must be referring to Wiggins, in which case I agree. Cleveland didn't want to let Wiggins go in the Love deal and they are the ones who blinked first.

Watch LeBron bolt out after his contract, once he finds out the hard way of the need for a young center. Heck, he might as well bring in Kwame Brown just to add insult to injury to Andrew Wiggins.

Worked so well for the Lakers!!

Center is a dead position in the NBA....like the power forward in the NHL.

Rest in Peace, Center position in the NBA. Cause of Death: Dwight Howard and Kwame Brown.

Name me one center you would build your team around? Outside of Shaq, when was the last time a center lead his team to a championship?

Answer the question without mentioning the Yankees....

Can't do either I bet!!

Wilt Chamberlain, 1972 NBA Finals
Magic Johnson, 1980 NBA Finals
Kareem Abdul-Jabbar

Nice non-sequitur by name dropping the Yankees.

Also, I have an NFL confession to make: I'm a Green Bay Packers fan.
