Wrong on both counts.

The Los Angeles Dodgers (1959, 1963, 1965, 1981, 1988) have more titles in California than the Oakland Athletics do (1972, 1973, 1974, 1989). That's 5 to 4...something you should have known about...historically.

This season isn't over yet. And when it is over, Oakland will once again be outside looking in, having choked away another golden opportunity to win a title.

I think I read it on Grantland, can't remember the exact term but something about how the NBA needs to fix the problem of players being FA's 1,2 even 3 years down the road being a bigger story than the actual on the court games.

And as for Christmas day, sure seems the NBA is counting on a Kobe vs. Rose headline, lets just hope both players are even healthy.
