Yep, force Kobe out of L.A.

That's like forcing Derek Jeter out of New York.

In all honesty, I am perfectly okay with spreading the offense out, so that Kobe becomes available to what he does best.

Also, ESPN is giving more hype on the next Madden 15 cover than actual coverage on the Los Angeles Kings, and the Madden cover party is at L.A. Live. :shakehead

ESPN doesn't cover hockey period, they wouldn't even cover it if Crosby was on his 5th Stanley Cup win.

ESPN has washed it's hands with Hockey, they want nothing to do with it. They are the TMZ of the sports world now.

ESPN/ABC/Disney no longer has the NHL US broadcasting rights contract; the now-NBCUniversal/Comcast does, which explains it perfectly.

Back on topic, Doyers lost and the Yankees just drafted Mariano Rivera Jr. :naughty:

No it doesn't. Hockey is a major US sport.

ESPN is supposed to be a sports network - and they report on other sports they don't broadcast. (well... I haven't watched sports center in quite a while, so I could be wrong)

The New York Times is reporting Derek Fisher will accept the Knicks' head coaching job.

All I can say is wow. But it's Phil. He must know what he is doing...

...another way to troll NYC on this day? :D

Fisher's contract is 5 years/25 million. Either way, the Knicks won't win a dynasty. The last time the Knicks won an NBA Title was the same decade the late Howard Cosell stated, "The Bronx is burning."

Oh, update: SportsCenter is trolling the Lakers AND Kings, by claiming "bringing the magic from Staples Center to MSG." I sense saltiness here.

ESPN has crawled back under the rock, now that Steve Levy and Linda Cohn's Rangers got snuffed out.

We got a real dose of NY bias there for all of five games. Been a long time...guess Jersey don't count.
