I like it.

Originally, I preferred Brian Shaw by the 2016 offseason; however, safe to say that the Buss kids grew up with Showtime, to the point they interviewed Byron Scott. Seriously, Jim Buss, are you still jealous of Phil? The fact he did not interview a "Phil Jackson guy" reeks of jealousy.

@gregbeacham: Matt Greene was asked if he takes a break from playoff pressure by watching the Dodgers game: "If I had Time-Warner, I would."

Speaking of more Dodgers news, there was some earbiting that happened yesterday and Olivo, the Mike Tyson of this incident, got released.

In addition, as a Lakers fan, please, for the love of The City of Angels, enough with head coaches whose first name is Mike! The Lakers just moved on from Mike D'Antoni, while the Lakers just interviewed Mike Dunleavy Sr.

I don't think kobe will be playing much to have a say anymore honestly. He's played what, 2 games in a year and a half?

There's a **** ton of miles on that body of his, I don't see him lasting an entire season anymore..

Kobe has changed his game over the past 3 years. I'd love to get a broader explanation.

It goes back to what Kobe said about wanting to have a say on who the next coach will be. And also this article:

http://www.latimes.com/sports/lakers/lakersnow/la-sp-ln-lakers-coach-kobe-bryant-20140521-story.html

Now we don't know exactly what changes Byron Scott thinks Kobe will have to make to his game, but it is pretty evident that he's going to try to instill more of a defensive structure to the team, something we didn't see from D'Antoni.

I guess I just don't understand. If I was to hear people on the streets say Kobe needs to change his game I would assume they were talking about his past reputation of being a ball hog. But he's been more of a Scottie Pippen style as he got older. Facilitator, smart offense as opposed to head down to the basket. When I hear a guy like Scott say he needs to change his game I become truly curious as to what he has in mind.

Since he's the single best veteran in the Lakers right now, I picture Byron Scott, making Kobe act more of a mentor role and polishing Nick Young and R(yan) Kelly as first teamers.

Just checked the box score.

Philly's been no-hit thru six. Beckett is the pitcher. (!)

Congratulations to Beckett for being the first Dodger since 1996 to get a no-hitter. Too bad most of Southern California couldn't watch it.
