will be interested to see if Exum tries to force his way to LA by not working out for anyone else...
I read that it's one of the deepest drafts in a long time.
Well, that's good to hear, especially if you're a laker fan. I was just going off of Embiid's numbers 11/8/2, which doesn't exactly scream 1st overall!
On a sidenote, I like the idea of Lebron going back to CLE.
I hope he does.![]()

Anyone see the story about Alex Guerrero and Miguel Olivo getting into an altercation in Albuquerque? Scott Boras said Guerrero will miss 5 weeks after getting part of his ear bit off. Yikes!

He's making 8 million dollars a year to have his ear bit off in the minors. He was raking too. And Dee Gordon is slumping. Bad timing.

My question (well one of them), is how is he gonna miss 5 weeks??? The whole ear better be gone...stitch that thing back on and tape it down, good to go.

Jesus man, have a little respect. I hope he didn't hear that.
classele- oh wait this isn't a Kings thread
When Shaquille O'neal was drafted into the NBA, he spent the first million that he earned within 30 minutes. O'neal then received a phone call from his banker, who scolded him, and told him that he would end up joining the list of former athletes who ended up broke if the current trend continued.
O'neal decided to sharpen up his education on business and finance. He returned to college, completing his Bachelor's degree, followed by his M.B.A, and lastly, his Ed.D. That's right, he is now Dr. Shaquille O'neal.
As of today, Shaq is the joint owner of 155 Five Guys Burgers restaurants, 17 Auntie Annie's Pretzels restaurants, 150 car washes, 40 24-hour fitness centers, a shopping center, a movie theater, and several Las Vegas nightclubs.
In addition to his business holdings, O'neal still earns $22 million per year (roughly $423,000 per week) from his endorsement deals with Arizona Creme soda, Icy Hot, Gold Bond, Buick, Zales, and at least a half dozen additional corporate sponsors. He is also a studio analyst for TNT.
In Shaq's own words, "It is not about how much money you make. The question is are you educated enough to KEEP it."

Cavaliers win draft lottery and they'll screw it up again. How's Anthony Bennett doing for you Cleveland. Yeah draft Embiid and watch him become Greg Oden 2!
I believe that was 3 out of the last 4 years they have won the lottery and they did it this year with only a 1.7% chance of winning.
Kind of wonder if the NBA gave them a nudge, nudge, wink, wink a few years back when they lost LeBron by saying we'll give you a few number 1 overall picks as a sort of compensation.
Apparently, it is a pretty deep draft with good talent available early into the 2nd round according to some guys who cover college ball.
It just sucks having someone with a 1.7% chance of winning pushes the Lakers to 7 in a draft where there are 6 clear game changers. I kind of think the NBA wants James back in Cleveland to make things right again. The story will go on for years. The prodigal son.
I kind a think Lebron wants to go back to CLE and rebuild the bridges that he'd burned on his way out. That would be interesting...
