Before the draft I told a few of my friends I guarantee he falls a ton of spots for one reason - the team that drafts him doesn't want to have the media circus (led by ESPN) taking over their locker room over one rookie. It's a bad distraction. Honestly, if I was a coach, I wouldn't even meet with the media and I'd make my players be very brief. Can't stand them.
 
The Clippers avoid the Staples Center sweep (that includes the Kings), come back from 22 in the game, 16 in the fourth quarter, and win! :dumbo:

Exactly, Fisher now will have to answer at least one or two questions each game about Sam's impact on the locker room (if he makes the team).

IT SHOULDN"T MATTER......He is a football player, just like the other guys.

I do give Snead credit for having the stones to look passed all the garbage. Hopefully this guy can help the Ram's win games.

That's what matters to me as a fan.

As for the Lakers, they have tons of cap space.

Thank goodness this nightmare season is over.

It's a good thing only TWC subscribers can watch them. No way I want Directv to cave and add another 4-5 bucks on my bill just to see them.
 
People talk about the Angels bullpen disaster but holy **** do the Dodgers even have a legit closer?

I've seen them blow so many leads late this year.

I don't want to watch sports and feel uncomfortable watching some dude cry while a nasty man rubs his biceps and kisses him. If you want to talk about a player being drafted fine, but don't talk about him because he's gay and certainly don't show the clip twice in an hour. That's not ****ing sports.

Then the football analysts decide to instead of analyzing football think they need to spend 3 minutes analyzing another football player that said "Gross" on twitter regarding a man kissing another man on freaking football draft television. They football analyst called the Miami football player who said "gross" a "mouth breather". Great football analysis. They never once talked about Michael Sam's football ability. I blame Ron Burgandy for ruining the news.

Yeah, they made it a huge deal. I'm happy for him, but the sensationalism is top much. The kissing thing, yes we get it he's gay, but why show the same clip of him kissing on repeat? They showed more of him kissing than his football highlights.

I think the guy is gonna be a target for cheap shots.

The NFL is a pretty brutal game regardless.

Mike Singletary admitted how he loved pile up's with Qb's involved...

He use to try and break their fingers in the pile up...

Brutal.

He had a bad combine. He would have gone higher if he had a good one. But once it appearred that he was going to have little impact, maybe a bench player, I can see how some teams would say it isn't worth the distraction.

If he doesn't play much, the media will get bored pretty quickly.

He apparently plays with a lot of heart so hopefully he gets his shot and is remembered as a football player first.

I'm not referring to Robert Sylvester, but rather the soon-to-be sophomore in the 2014-15 NBA Season Ryan. On the other hand, I feel like every time the Clippers are being hyped up as "L.A.'s Team", they're becoming more and more like the "New York Mets of the NBA", with the Lakers as the Yankees' NBA parallel.

Not really; if anything, I already accepted the Clippers as the NBA counterpart of the New York Mets. :nod:

Since you're also a Dodgers fan, I'd like to get your opinion whether the team should go after Heath Bell or not.

On a fashion-related awareness, I just picture you, wearing a Clippers home jersey with a Dodgers home uniform. :p:

And speaking of more nickname jerseys, I hope to see "SWAGGY P #0" in the lineup for a Lakers nickname jersey game. :naughty:
