I am not sold on Bradford either, guy has no killer instinct and no it factor.

Bradford is like a more skilled version of Alex Smith.

I think the Rams were just doing their homework on Johnny football. Just in case he slips to them at 13th. There is probably no way they pick him at 2 with so much money tied up in Bradford.

They would have to trade Bradford, way too much cap money in that guy.

They will probably go with a Lineman or a WR at 2.

I don't think Johnny makes it out of the top Ten, the Vikings and TB both need QB's badly.

Bradford to Smith is actually a very good comparison. I actually think Smith is better fo the two.

As for Manziel, I think his stock has been rising, and he will go high, very high. I think the rams pick Manziel with their 2nd and pick up an OL with their 13th.

It will be an interesting day for sure. So many teams have huge needs in that top 15 picks.

Should be a good draft, I am kind of shocked Teddy Bridgewater has fallen off the earth in this draft.

Bridgewater is a stud if you ask me. Also get to see were local Hero in Derek Carr goes....If he goes in the first round that is.

Sounds like rams very well may be picking a QB. Maybe they can pick Bridgewater in the later rounds.

I hope the Rams pick up a QB in the second or third round, they have to push Bradford to be something.

I actually think it's funny the Browns paid 100k to some group to analyze the QBs and they concluded Bridgewater was the optimal choice...so they go with Manziel.

I didn't know much about Donald, but after hearing and reading about the guy, I absolutely love this pick.

Believe me, the rams didn't draft like this when they were here in LA/ANA, that's for sure.

I really think Manziel will be something special. Everyone keeps comparing him to Tarkenton because of his scrambling abilities, but he also reminds me of Brees and Vicks.
 
Having such an amazing DLine is nice and all, but the rule changes have geared the game so much to offense and the Rams offense leaves a lot to be desired.

I do like Tavon Austin, I think he could be every bit as good as Randall Cobb but he needs someone to get him the ball and some other weapons to ease pressure off of him.
 
Rams running game and wide receivers aren't that bad. It really depends on Bradford. If Bradford could finally have the kind of year which made him the first overall pick, then I like our chances. The biggest obstacle is that we play in the toughest division.

If Bradford has another subpar year, I say we need to look elsewhere.
 
If Bradford has another mediocre year and no playoff's, he will be cut.

The Rams will have paid all of his bonus money, and they can't have a cap hit north of 15 million for a mediocre 1st overall QB.

Which is why it is very important Snead picks a QB in the 2nd or 3rd round.

They have to start grooming someone with talent, they can't put all their hopes on Bradford.

That would career suicide for Fisher/Snead, that is how GM's/Coaches get fired.

Bradford is not a top tier NFL qb - geez, he's not even middle of the pack.

I agree. Bradford, sans injury hasn't been that good for a number 1 guy. This year he has to show improvement or the Rams may have to move on.

I still think they need to keep him upright before they toss him, though I will say he hasn't shown much improvement. This year will be very telling, but I would personally give him this year, especially now since they're not getting anyone sexy via FA/draft. I don't think he'll ever sniff the top tier, but I think if he stays on his feet with a better line and finally-established running game good things can happen.

So it appears that the rams have addressed their needs with Robinson OG; Donald DT; Joyner S and possibly added a starting RB in Tre Mason.

The rams just need Bradford to move the chain, and not suck.
