That's a lot of revisionist history bull ****. The same thing was going on last year, before those banners were covered.

How am I being the revisionist when the 2013-14 NBA season was his 1st year of coaching the Clippers? Besides, the first time this banner-covering happened was this 2013-14 NBA season. Even PTI brought it up the same season. :shakehead

If the Clippers are setting themselves to be the New York Mets of the NBA and NOT "Celtics West Coast", then fine by me.

Did I tell you about Frank McCourt's ownership of the Dodgers and his true baseball allegiance?

You are missing my point.

Which was, this Clippa-hate from the Laka-crowd began when the Clippas began kicking the Lakas ass routinely (say about three seasons now). And have been the better team in that stretch of time. And of course, they reveled in the Clippers first round exit last season.

That's my point.

I also love how crazy Lawler gets in interviews. I remember him a few years back on PMS - "I told you Laker homers that the Clip Show would be a force! No one believed me!" :biglaugh:

I read that aloud in real life while responding to that quotation, and sounded like a stereotypical Bostonian accent. :p: Is that you, Bill Simmons? :sarcasm:

As for the 2012-13 NBA Season, both Lakers and Clippers left at the 1st round, under different circumstances.

Lakers went into the 2013 NBA Playoffs with a roster full of injuries and a coach that is Popovich's property.
Clippers lasted longer with a stronger/deeper roster, only to get ousted by the Grizzlies.

Since you brought up 2011-12, 12-13, 13-14 NBA Seasons, let's talk about head-to-head results.

2011-12: LAKERS, 2-1
2012-13: CLIPPERS, Sweep
2013-14: CLIPPERS, 3-1

Overall, 98-36, Lakers.

If you thought that jealousy is only unique to Lakers fans, then let me introduce you to Yankee fans' initial reaction towards the Mets. :naughty:

Speaking of the Clippers, a Clipper fan I talked to in real life told me, "You never break your hometown's heart in national television", pertaining to "The Decision" and the fact I'm in that Miami nWo bandwagon and even shared to me, "Heat will threepeat at best."

Is Lawler a local sportswriter here in L.A.?

Hey look Frieri cost the Angels another game by giving up yet another homerun.

The Angels are one of the worst managed/coached teams in sports.

Any rams fans here think that STL will select Johnny Manziel with their 2nd pick today? He could be an interesting pick for them.

Still not sold on Bradford.
