I've never been a fan of D'Antoni being the Lakers coach. I won't put all the blame on him though because, well, look at that roster...

I still remember his days, coaching the Phoenix Suns, in which they literally have NO defense and just a run-and-gun system.

The Los Angeles Lakers have agreed to a multiyear extension with general manager Mitch Kupchak, sources with knowledge of the situation said Tuesday night.

Kupchak has presided over four NBA championships since succeeding Jerry West as the Lakers general manager in 2000. He has been with the organization since retiring as a player in 1986.

Wow, I didn't realize he'd play so long after jacking up his knee the first season he was here (1979-80). It's been a long time since all those '80s championships which I remember fondly; I guess the mind is going.
