I've had pretty good experiences talking Halos baseball with the Ducks fans on this board, obviously when it comes to hockey it's a different story.

The lakers get lit up for 143 points and their twitter account touts a player who somehow made it into double figures.

In an effort to save budget, Jim Buss probably hired a Laker girl to manage their social media account.

Great deal for Trout. Assuming his career trajectory keeps on pace he will still be able to sign one the most expensive deals in MLB history when this deal ends.

And the Angels are guaranteed to have likely the best player in the sport for at minimum the next 7 seasons.

I love it.

I sincerely hope the Angels build around Trout, after that move.

Even though I'm a Yankee fan, I hope the Angels would just win its 2nd World Series title with a player whose last name is a fish. Remember Tim Salmon? :naughty:

wow anyone see the missed call in the MSU/Virginia game. Imagine if that happened to the Kings in a Game 7. I think we'd have some suicides here. Funny how sometimes they call basketball games so close and other times let a guy get away with a clear push.

I haven't felt shaking like that since the Northridge earthquake. Then again, this one was centered less than a couple of miles from where I live. A few things broke in the house. Oh well.

Same here. They got him til age 29 for a very reasonable 144 mil. I really thought the extension would start at 200 mil . Solid deal for both. Now lets see if the GM is smart enough to put the extra money saved back into pitching over the course of the contract.

Didn't even feel it. lol

I felt it in south OC pretty good. I was out stargazing and looking at the Orion Nebula when the image was moving all over the place and I could figure out why. Then a big jolt and I realized that it was an earthquake. First one I've felt while standing on the ground in about 20 years.
