I don't care what you say about Laine's pass, Matheson could have gotten to it with an ounce of effort and he could have done anything after, other than give up a 2 on 0.

He doesn't deserve the trust and responsibilities he's given.

He was looking at the goal instead of focusing on receiving the pass, as he often does on the pp when the puck skips over his stick...

I’m no Matheson fan but that was 100% on Laine. Just a terrible pass with no pressure on him.

No it wasn't.

He didn't expect Matheson to keep moving forward when he was the last man.

Laine gave up a chance earlier cause he realized if he took the shot and missed, no one would be back.

Matheson kept floating in. Why? You're the last man. Stop f***ing moving forward.

Laine gave him a pass, he should have been stopping and receive it and then throw it right back to Laine.
