I think all twenty who voted brown is dirty aren't Kings fans. Lol. If they were they'd contribute in the comment section at least once.

Doesn't that say something though?

Homer glasses are a real thing. When Fowler hurt his knee from that Pejorative Slur Bordeleau I was seeing red. I hated the fact that some idiot who's sole reason for being on the ice is to take someone out hurt our best defender. I still see him that way even though I'm sure many would disagree with me.

I think of Brown as just stupid. I dont think he is "dirty" in the Neal-knee-to-the-head way. He just makes reckless hits that have consequences and homer glasses have an effect on both Kings fans in defending him and the fans of the player he hurt to act like Brown did it on purpose.

For people calling Brown dirty, can you guys list all the names of players who have missed significant time with injuries as a result of his dirty play and his laundry list of suspensions?

You will only find one such example for each; Hertl (which came with no supplemental discipline and was deemed incidental contact) and his reverse check/elbow on Pominville. That's it. Quite the history of dirty play eh? How does that even compare to the other names that are being brought up in the discussion about Brown being dirty?

Well said again imo.

To be fair I don't like the argument that a dirty play has to cause an injury. But I agree with your premise that he's been much less seek-and-destroy than #askkneeal for example.

Oh for sure.

I just can't believe no one has Photoshopped a picture of brown raising a stanley cup constructed entirely of knees.

Instead of the sword throne in game of thrones make it a knee throne.

Also, why does it seem like the sharks org can't let go of events that happened.http://www.nhl.com/ice/news.htm?id=714787
And remember when they were up in arms with defense of Torres' hit last year, where other teams rarely make such a fuss.

Maybe it's just what i'm noticing. :dunno:

Guys, our rival fans said we are being homers yet they are judging without bias whatsoever. Lol. Cracks me up every single time I read a post like that.

I'm not going to comment over what kind of player Dustin Brown is. I will say a common thing about sports fans though. Nobody ever likes a player that is "dirty" "reckless" "headcase" or whatever unless that player is playing for the same team he/she is a fan of. They're exceptions of course but the Torres trade from Phoenix to San Jose is a perfect example seeing how so many Sharks Fans who have come to hate Torres over the years now like him. I'm sure that if Dustin Brown went to another team(if he does of course) that any fans of a Non-Kings Team who hate him will come to love him overtime.

Can a moderator please close this poll? I wanted this to be solely kings fans, and I messed up by making this anonymous. I would like to have this poll closed so I can make another one with no anonymity in the voting.

Thanks.

Prediction - the number of votes decreases drastically.

Won't anybody think of all the unbiased and rational Sharks, Ducks, Blues and Cryote fans who know for a fact that Brown is dirty and intentionally tries to harm other players? They have used science and math and no bias whatsoever to arrive at their concrete opinion, I mean fact.
