Sorry I don't blame management or coaching for this shameful performance. Nor do I blame the depth, defence, or goaltending. They all did their job and put this team in a position to win in 5 games.

Matthews and Marner did not do their job, not even a little bit. Nick Suzuki had a better playoff than those two combined.

Looking to blame someone, blame them.

Right now, I don't care, all I see is prospects and draft picks flying out the window with huge cap issues.

We had the so much to look forward to, but we rushed the game plan and in comes Dubas handing out candy like there is no tomorrow.

I swear people who get excited for first round wins never won in sports growing up. Never seen myself or any of my buddy’s excited about losing in the semis.
You get more excitement losing in the first round to a far inferior team eh?

This leaf team has no further upside, no cap, and less than half it's picks over the next 2 years. Tell me how your favorite gm is gonna win the cup anytime soon

12 picks last year, Robertson, Sandin, Liljegren, Amirov, etc. on the way, we are fine in every aspect. Dubas has solved the depth issue by convincing players to come here at value deals.

Auston and Mitch needed to perform like their peers. Mackinnon, Rantanen, Point, Kucherov, Pastrnak, etc. Nick Suzuki outperformed both of them combined.
