His wife is leading the Blue Jackets out of the tunnel, btw.Bring your tissues when 90k people start chanting "Johnny Hockey" during his tribute
Same zip code, heck. I live two miles away. I won't be able to make the game, but I'm thinking of leaving the windows open in case the cannon is audible from here.I like that the rink isn't in a different zip code than the fans due to it being a smaller NCAA stadium as opposed to NFL stadium. Weather looks perfect too, cloudy all day and a tick below freezing at puck drop.
Next time it's an NFL stadium, they can just make a full 100 yards plus end zones sized rink and play 10 vs 10
lol it reminded me when I was in the same age, and one of the guys in the gang, used to say, it is not long, but thin....View attachment 984801
Columbus jerseys remind me of this guy I knew in high school who used to always crack jokes about how he had two really big “wagon wheels” but an extra small “cannon” if you catch my drift
I meant the playing surface in relation to the stands. When Gillette hosted Bruins-Habs the rink looked like it was a mile away from the stands. All that dead space on the field drives me nuts. Put some standing room areas around it ir somethingSame zip code, heck. I live two miles away. (It's going to be cold AF, but I've got sweaters...)
The stadium is huge, and bigger than NFL stadiums. At least there’s no track around the football field which puts the stands a mile away. The seats are pretty close to the field.I like that the rink isn't in a different zip code than the fans due to it being a smaller NCAA stadium as opposed to NFL stadium.
