I personally don’t like it, while it might sound fun, most games start at the same time and it’s hard to watch the games in real time plus you have Monday and Wednesday with only 1 game on the schedule
Math... Formula when you have a set number of clubs (30, 31, 32) and you need to get each one to the set # of games like 82.Scheduling 82 games for 32 teams is complicated. It's bonkers to deal with venue availability, division and conference splits, travel, and a million other things. I'll never complain about the schedule.
I still don't understand how it's mathematically possible that every team played 82 times when there were 30 teams, then still 82 when there were 31, and now still 82 games when there's 32. How did it never end up that a team only played 81 and had no matching opponent? Sorcery?
Well this time it’s on TuesdayMakes fantasy a bit tougher when everyone is playing but it's great! Plus Saturday games are better for attendance.
This is my biggest gripe with itI personally don’t like it, while it might sound fun, most games start at the same time and it’s hard to watch the games in real time plus you have Monday and Wednesday with only 1 game on the schedule
Ohh well that's kind of dumb on a non holiday... only positive is i can watch some games at work.Well this time it’s on Tuesday
I mean even if a lot of games happen at the same time, so what. Did you expect to watch 16 games? I like following games that are relevant to my team even if I don't watch those games.
82 games is way too much, this is just a symptom.
Because even the players themselves mostly don't care about individual regular season games. Many nights only a few scrubs trying to stay in the big league look like they give a f***.I legit don't get this take. If you like the sport why would you want fewer games? This is one of my biggest knocks on Football. I can watch 5 seasons worth of games in a hockey season if I watch all the games. So if my team is good I get to watch them for months almost every day, what's the problem?
