If Sullivan gets fired out of Pittsburgh, Sens should go all in for him. You got Jacques here to advocate for him as well would be a perfect fit.
I feel like Pens would like to send him to the moon.

Pens management love him

not so much the fans. The problem is he has a contract extension that has not even kicked in yet. I would hire him in a minute. Lets also see what happens with Brindamour

Still rocking that sub .900 save percentage

Nice to see it took about 10 games to see change I thought I would take closer to 20

I’ve learned this team can play a complete game.

DJ was a huge waste of time and Martin should have been hired 5 years ago instead of him

Why would Brindamour be available?
Well if Carolina fizzles out in the playoffs for the 4th year in a row while being cup contenders there will assuredly be some changes. Dundon doesn’t strike me as the most patient guy and i’m a bit surprised we haven’t seen major moves already. Don’t know if that means Brind’amour is gone but his contract also ends after this season.

He would on top of every team’s board tho so it is a pipe dream even if he does become available.

Gord Miller compared coach Alfie to coach Bryan Murray in Tuesday's broadcast against the Panthers. That really bodes well - I already like the fact that he is Jacques' avatar on ice as the interim head coach is too old and creaky for on-ice coaching. Alfie is a head coach in the making.

This %PP and Save pct are too bad given the progress we can see in others aspects of the game, need to be adress in the summer. New 1rst goalie and new pp coach (because the talent on the team is there).

How would Gord miller know this.

Alfie is in charge of a horrible power play that’s loaded with talent.

I said Gord Miller, not Wilson lol. Gord is very highly respected and has more hockey knowledge in his pinky than the entire HFSens. He is around the game, that’s his job, been around forever where sees and hear things. In any case, I believe he was referring to the fiery nature of coaching that was akin to Murray who was highly competitive behind the bench.

It's true the powerplay sucks but key players have been underperforming (Stu, Norris). That’s a key reason, but it definitely needs to get better fast. But lets not ignore how much the team has gotten better (overall), with glitches still to be fixed.

Speaking of Stutzle, looks like he is figuring it all out and is back to playing his best hockey. I think Norris has rehabbed his shoulder to be "normal" but he is not as strong on his feet/overall. I only recently saw him attempt to hit the opposition. He looks weaker than 2021-2022 season, and may need the off season to get stronger (physically and mentally). I hope he will rebound and it would suck to trade him now when his value is low. Still young.

My ideal?

Keep Jacques for 2 more years, replace Capuano with a Gruden-type (not sure we could even get permission to talk to him for an associate job), and then see where things are in 2yrs.

Lots of maybes in that scenario but Jacques is the best option for us right now IMO.

Brindamour is absolute dream. Literally perfect.

Why would Brindamour be available?

I think you misunderstand Mick, RKL must mean this:
