There is no way that Daisey Ridley movie is real. Please, somebody, neuralyze me.

E: Omfg, they gave Rian a set of movies? I need a lobotomy at this point.

Would you prefer a non-binary partner? :sarcasm:
 You’re on a roll with the dad jokes

I just remember being in the theater watching Solo and losing it when Glover drops to his knees and yells when his favorite sex bot gets shot and “dramatically” dies in his arms lol. It was too much.

Must be tough being a robo sexual

At least they hired someone to write all 3 movies to avoid being an incoherent mess.
I felt like they were on to something with The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi, until they completely fudged it up with "somehow Palpatine returned".

They fudged it up when they had Luke toss back that lightsaber like it was can of coke he just finished. Rian Johnson sucks and he toppled the trilogy with his dumb direction choices

"You must learn the truth."

"What truth is that, Master?"

"The Force actually doesn't exist. In fact, this entire galaxy doesn't. You've been in a serious car accident, and you've suffered extensive brain damage."

"What? Impossible!"

"Search your feelings. Your real name is Dale Jefferson. You work at Staples."

"But, if that's the case..."

"Yes, it's all an invention of your own mind. Star Wars doesn't exist. What you have instead, is a general malaise regarding the utter pointlessness of modern existence. But in a witty way."

"Man, have you ever subverted my expectations!"

"Well, it's really just the plot of Vanilla Sky."

I won't believe a Star Wars project until we actually get a trailer. We've heard about some of these project for a couple years now and they can never seem to get past the first couple of stages

Gina Carano has been given more ammunition for her lawsuit:

She was never fired though just her contract wasn't renewed so I don't really see why she should win any case. She's only gone so far with it because Elon is funding it because he has money to piss away.

It's amazing how many people risk their livelihoods over stupid social media. Same goes for this creative director.

That's what I expected Disney's lawyers to say, but that's not what happened. She was an actual employee, not a contractor.

All the legal proceedings thus far have ended in her favor. Judge made it pretty clear she has a legitimate grievance under the law.

Also, the "firing" isn't the only issue. There's a question of unequal treatment.

I missed that so that's my bad. Well they have an easy solution here, they fire this creative director and then they say they treat everyone the same way with social media, problem solved.

She was promised work and the California law in question covers prospective employees, not just current ones. Besides, the fact that they repeatedly warned her in e-mails and meetings and encouraged her to undergo sensitivity training points to Disney considering her an employee, and Disney even confirmed that in their counter to the lawsuit by arguing that they have every right to fire employees who don't represent their company. Finally, they didn't just quietly not renew her contract. They put out a press statement that publicly shamed her for her comments and that she's arguing in her lawsuit has impacted her ability to get further work.
I missed that so that's my bad. Well they have an easy solution here, they fire this creative director and then they say they treat everyone the same way with social media, problem solved.
I typed up the above before I saw this, but I'll leave it, if you don't mind, since it gives more information. Yeah, Disney could solve this new headache by firing him... but will they?

They'd have to fire Pedro Pascal from The Mandalorian too. He made a very politically charged tweet before Carano made her's with no repercussions from it.
