Would you prefer a non-binary partner? Is going to be in love with and bang a new robot girlfriend in this one too?
You’re on a roll with the dad jokesWould you prefer a non-binary partner?
E: Omfg, they gave Rian a set of movies? I need a lobotomy at this point.
I blame JJ Abrams more. They fudged it up when they had Luke toss back that lightsaber like it was can of coke he just finished. Rian Johnson sucks and he toppled the trilogy with his dumb direction choices
Gina Carano has been given more ammunition for her lawsuit:
Lucasfilm Creative Director Goes on Ugly Tirade Against Majority of Americans that Could Influence Gina Carano Lawsuit
A Lucasfilm employee went on an angry tirade against the majority of Americans. Now many are wondering why the seeming double-standard is so strong for Disney employees with moderate and/or conservative viewpoints versus those with abrasive, ugly and awful statements against them. Has Star Wars...thatparkplace.com
That's what I expected Disney's lawyers to say, but that's not what happened. She was an actual employee, not a contractor. She was never fired though just her contract wasn't renewed

All the legal proceedings thus far have ended in her favor. Judge made it pretty clear she has a legitimate grievance under the law.
Also, the "firing" isn't the only issue. There's a question of unequal treatment.
She was promised work and the California law in question covers prospective employees, not just current ones. Besides, the fact that they repeatedly warned her in e-mails and meetings and encouraged her to undergo sensitivity training points to Disney considering her an employee, and Disney even confirmed that in their counter to the lawsuit by arguing that they have every right to fire employees who don't represent their company. Finally, they didn't just quietly not renew her contract. They put out a press statement that publicly shamed her for her comments and that she's arguing in her lawsuit has impacted her ability to get further work. She was never fired though just her contract wasn't renewed so I don't really see why she should win any case.
I typed up the above before I saw this, but I'll leave it, if you don't mind, since it gives more information. Yeah, Disney could solve this new headache by firing him... but will they?I missed that so that's my bad. Well they have an easy solution here, they fire this creative director and then they say they treat everyone the same way with social media, problem solved.
