Don't pretend you thought this was about style comparisons. You thought people were comparing Leonard to Lindros and Forsberg ability-wise. That's when you brought up Parise, Richards and Grabovski.
I know it was all about style comparisons, it's right there dude, don't pretend like I find the way back here for like 15 years without an ability to read. It's just simply meaningless when you make a comparison for the sake of mentioning someone really really great. Like saying "this random guy has a work ethic like Crosby". No shit, he might be the hardest working dude in the country, still isn't qualified to clean Crosby's skates so why say that? Isn't it more fitting to mention some still pretty good players with similar style? Or these days it's all about saying something stupid but quotable?

Nope but you guys took exception to me pointing out that wasn't smartest thing to say, this still goes on just because we're talking about two different things lol
It was a perfectly fine thing to say, though. More Forsberg then Lindros, in my opinion. He doesn't have the size of a Lindros.

Yeah, not exactly two of the most durable players to be compared to. Both were much bigger also.

For his sake he's going to have to learn to make life a bit easier for himself at the next level. Shouldn't be for lack of sound advice at least...
I’m seeing 6’0 205 for Foppa.

He'll be about the same size as Forsberg if he puts on 10 or 15 pounds. But yeah, he's going to have to reign it in a little bit or he's always going to have a target on his back.

I’m sure he’ll rein it in a bit over time, but he’ll come into NHL like a bat out of hell. Equivalent of JD learning to slide. Haha. But i want him to use that tool kit.

I thought he was more like 6'2''ish. Shrug. Forsberg was thicc tho. BC lists Leonard at 200 but lower body wise he's got a way to go...

He can play an effective power game at the next level. It's more not so frequently getting caught up in scrums and taking unnecessary damage. Hard to critique a player's competitiveness but he'll need to streamline it a bit and deploy it strategically. He relishes that aspect but 80-100+ games playing that way adds up.

I haven’t seen him play or stats. Has he looked that bad?
Yeah, very bad. I watched all his games and I'm not a professional but the eye test doesn't lie. Satan has looked rough too but that was kind of to be expected from a 7th rounder. He's got a LONG way to go to ever be considered a legitimate NHL prospect. Kind of surprised he's sticking in the USHL, would like to see him bump down to the NAHL for the rest of the season. Muggli on the other hand is in his second u20 and playing against men in the NL full time and was drafted 8-9 spots behind Huston for comparison. He should have been better. His stock dropped quite a bit for me while Huston and Mateiko soared. Leonard and Sikora stayed the same. Sikora is so defensively responsible for his age and forechecks so hard he was always going to standout in this type of tournament. Leonard has just been Leonard, and that's not a bad thing.

You're supposed to not sound crazy. No, all this because your style comparisons are silly, sorry if that offends some people.
It may be crazy. Probably. But maybe not.

Are you telling me that you don’t see the Caps prospects mostly owning this tournament? (Leonard, Hutson, Mateiko, Sikora)….and obv Cristall is probably someone team CA would like to have right now.

We are on “Hockeys Future” and it’s all about the WJC’s right now — I mean, of COURSE there is massive hyperbole being thrown around.

Know our audience. 🤷🏻‍♂️
