Most of the goals Latvia has scored by someone other than Mateiko, Mateiko has created open ice for his teammates by going to the net or extreme attention of the other team, he’s exactly the type of player Canada could use where no one is going to the net

I’d love to see Moose come to North America and play in Hershey. He is eligible. Same with ‘lil Pro. Cristal and Allan as well. Going to be some fun newbies next year.

Duh! Not sure how i got that confused. But he can be in Hershey next year.
This is true since he's a late birthday. I'm not sure he's ready for that steep a jump but in theory he could. The late birthday also means this is his last WJC.

I guess he could play a bottom six role in Hershey next year but it would be kind of aggressive. Lil Protas is also eligibile to make the jump. Cristall of course. Suzdalev could still figure in their plans. Funk is in the mix. Returning to the Q as an overager and playing tons wouldn't be the worst thing. Depends how strong he finishes the season. Lots to like about the player but still a lot of filling out to do. His power game would get emphasized making the jump next year but his softer, skill game and endurance tested more by returning. We'll see.

Lewandowski for the Germans seems like a player up their alley. Playing in the Dub, solid frame, feet not great currently. Seems like a fit in R2-3.
