Reading about those fans, they should have their team taken away. Or just not allowed to attend home games for a long period.

From the pics and vids I saw it was mostly teenagers

He’s a man among boys…makes me wonder how long he can continue like this before the league evolves somehow to compensate.

Exactly why I made the comparison to Ovechkin entering the league. Generational talent that just blows up the game.

86 goals and 23 assists in 89 games for Borussia Dortmund.

29 goals and 7 assists in 27 games for Red Bull Salzburg.

I doubt he's going to stop any time soon now that he gets better service... his goalscoring record might regress down to goal-per-game (yikes) long-term like it did with Dortmund when he gets dinged up as he's quickly reaching the same status of a player that just can't be benched even if he has minor knocks. He played for Dortmund a lot when he was dinged up. I don't think that's the case with City... atleast yet. But late in the season it's going to be hard to bench him when CL and Cups reach latter stages and the deciding games of the PL are played.

Hard to see that's going to be an issue for him as much this season though because he isn't playing in the World Cup.

Hmmm who to watch today?

Kind of want to see if Liverpool can get their shit together. Or root against Spuds.

Meh. Inter packed it in and played really boring soccer. They were effective for sure but watching Barca have 72% possession and just pass around the perimeter isn’t exactly entertaining.
Not if you‘re rooting for Barca or a high scoring affair….

I was pulling for a goal for the Polish Poacher…

England 2 USA 1 in women's international soccer;

Women's soccer is red hot atm. You would think some enterprising business people would take
advantage of this, put together a serious professional league with high quality soccer (beautiful
women would of course be a bonus). Maybe have it as a multinational league (eg. teams within
the US, Canada and Mexico playing each other) to take greater advantage of markets.

I suspect there is a lot of money to be made in this game, for someone with the entrepreneurial skill
to exploit it.
