Yes, but if they're not going to use that beautiful logo, then ditch the black entirely.

The current Canadian uniforms are boring as hell. The last thing anyone needed was another jersey with diagonal lettering on the front. Is there no one with a shred of creativity at Nike or whoever is responsible?

I do, however, thank the manufacturers of this year's version. They've saved me money, because I sure as heck won't be buying one.

These please, or similar.

yes yes yes

I really don't like the Czech uniform. The white shoulder part just stretches down too low, making the C and A's awkwardly far down on the jersey.

I really love that Slovakia kept their Olympic uniform. That jersey is great!

Well don't ask me, I'm sacriligous and have always liked those green ones they had for Saskatchewan best:

For me what it comes down to is that yes while our flag colours are red and white it's pretty much the same for literally half the world. I counted one time. I've always been envious of those distinct national jerseys that a team like Sweden has, and felt those Saskatchewan green's could do that for us.

I'm about the only one that thinks that though

Those jerseys were a part of why I became disillusioned with this tournament.

Germany has the best jerseys. They are just so damn perfect. I like Tre Kronor because of the history and consistency but Germany's jerseys win whatever competition it enters. Ever since the Nazi era the germans got the emblem and color scheme down to a teeth.

And yet they don't include the logo on the jerseys.
I believe Hockey Canada does not use the logo on their jerseys because the IIHF no longer allows each country to put their association's logo on their national jerseys. If I remember correctly, Hockey Canada tried appealing and lost.

no, its the Olympics that doesnt allow it. IIHF you can do what you want for the most part.

I don't like how Canada always adds black to their uniforms. Canada's colors are red and white, they should accept it and go with it. You don't really see other countries adding extra colors to their uniforms.

Hockey Canada's colours are Red and Black.

Anyone else miss the Vancouver 2010 jerseys?

These are quite possibly my favourite international team Canada jerseys ever. I also love the designs in the maple leafs.

I would like to see how it would look like if Sweden changed their crowns to something like this on his coat, and make them golden :naughty: Maybe a bit too much L.A. Kings though.

Navy blue with golden crowns, would probably look way too tacky and a bit 1526 but still, would be fun for some sort of anniversary jersey.

On a diff note: anybody else is slightly annoyed at the fact that TSN marks Canada an the USA in their tables by their hockey federations logos, while the rest of the world by their flags? Because every other nation also has a federation logo... You do one or the other uniformly. Of course, north americans will not recognize other countries logos (and the TCN are too lazy to find them) - but then you just stick to the flags...

The Hockey Canada logo is a patch on the sleeves (between the stripes) and under the neck (where laces would be).

And in the Standings tables shown on the TSN:
HC logo - CAN
USA H logo - USA
SVK flag - SVK
FIN flag - FIN
GER flag - GER
